Core Sizes for rolls of direct thermal labels

Core size is the measurement for the size of the cores used for your direct thermal label rolls and are measured by the internal diameter.

Cores for label printers are normally made with a 3mm thick card, so the external diameter is 6mm larger than the internal diameter. You can find the specification requirements of your printer in the printer manufacturer’s documentation.
