Overview:
Direct Thermal Eco Labels are great value economy-class material labels. Made with high-quality direct thermal material from leading suppliers such as UPM Raflatac, Herma, Ritrama, or Frimpeks. These labels contain a pigment that reacts to heat produced by your thermal printer’s printhead at the time of printing. These labels do not require ribbons in order to print.
Once printed on, direct thermal labels have a shorter shelf life than thermal labels using ribbons. Depending on the environment, you should only use direct thermal eco-labels where legibility is required for no more than 6–12 months. Direct thermal eco-labels are the ideal choice for a balance of good value and performance.
